About
In December, Yatsuki Tsutsukowake Shrine in Tanagura, regarded as the Oshu Ichinomiya, a leading shrine of the region, holds its grand festival on the second Saturday and Sunday of the month. Sacred kagura dances are offered in the worship hall with prayers for a good harvest, and this kagura is an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Fukushima Prefecture. Chikatsu Station on the JR Suigun Line is about a 10-minute walk away.
