About
Launched in 2008 with the theme of Hokkaido and Sapporo food, this gourmet festival takes over seven areas of Odori Park in the heart of Sapporo. Along roughly a kilometer of the park, around 300 stalls in total serve up local specialties and drinks brought by towns from all over Hokkaido, along with dishes from chefs at well-known Sapporo restaurants and seasonal ingredients from across the island. More than two million people come every year. The aim is to showcase each region's food culture and give the whole of Hokkaido a boost. Please don't bring outside food or drink into the venue, smoke only in designated areas, and remember that drinking is not allowed under 20 and drinking and driving is strictly prohibited.
