About
A neighborhood festival in the Ishihira district of Kitanakagusuku Village. Visitors walk the Sakura Komichi lane that runs through the district, taking in the green surroundings along the way. After the walk, a stage at a special venue presents classical Ryukyuan music, Ryukyuan dance, Okinawan folk songs, dance acts, karaoke by well-known personalities and a special guest. The streets nearby are narrow and there is no parking, so out of respect for residents, visitors are asked to take a bus or taxi and walk the last stretch as part of the stroll.
