About
Potters from all over Tobe bring their work to this festival, where some 100,000 pieces of Tobe-yaki are laid out for sale. Everything from everyday dishes to vases and craft pieces goes for special thank-you prices, so bargain hunters come from inside and outside Ehime. Beyond the big sale, there is a meet-up of local mascot characters. At the painting workshop you can decorate a piece of your own. At Cafe EBOT you choose a Tobe-yaki mug you like and get a drink and baked treats served in it, first come, first served each day. The venue is Tobe Town Tokaido Yutori Park, which has parking and is also reachable by local bus from Matsuyama-shi Station. The 2026 festival was its 41st edition.
