About
Each autumn, the ruins of Soma Nakamura Castle, also known as Bajo Castle, in Soma City host a festival packed with one-day-only events. The highlight is a display of the traditional matchlock gunnery handed down in the Soma Nakamura domain, and there are also guided walks around the castle grounds and a kagura dance contest. The lineup changes from year to year and some events need advance registration. The ruins are about 15 minutes on foot from JR Soma Station on the Joban Line.
