About
This summer festival is held among the sunflower fields around the Honoyama Community Center in the Chunan area of Manno. The town grows sunflowers on about 20 hectares in total, close to a third of which is clustered in the Honoyama-Nakayama fields, and around a million blooms are expected across the town. Peak bloom runs from late June to mid-July. On the festival day, a free loop bus leaves from the Sun Sports Land Chunan parking lot beside the Chunan branch office, a handy starting point.
