About
Koshu City's annual spring event reached its twenty-fourth year in 2026. With the Kanzo Yashiki, the former Takano family residence and an Important Cultural Property, as the main venue, hina dolls are displayed at 10 sites around the city, including Miyakoen, the Shingen-ko Treasure Museum, the Kai-Yamato roadside station and JR Enzan Station. Besides the tiered sets there are hanging ornaments and palace-style displays, and the nostalgic dolls bring an early taste of spring. Welcome concerts are held at the Kanzo Yashiki and Miyakoen during the event. From late March to mid-April the peach trees of the Enzan Togenkyo are at their best, so you can combine the doll displays with a walk among the blossoms. Admission fees and opening hours differ by venue.
