About

On August 13, Matsuno holds its biggest summer night, a fireworks festival around the Niji no Mori Park Matsuno roadside station. The fireworks go up from two spots around the station, so the whole venue is ringed with light. The same grounds host a Bon dance, stage shows and the Yodo Umaimono Gassen food fair. JR Matsumaru Station is about 1 minute away on foot, so it is easy to come by train. The festival is run by a local executive committee with its office in the Matsuno Town Office. If it is postponed, it moves to August 15.
