About
An early-summer flower festival in the iris garden by the east moat of the honmaru, inside Odawara Castle Park. In June, roughly 10,000 iris plants and about 2,500 hydrangeas around them peak together, so one walk takes in both. Irises flower from late May to mid June and hydrangeas from early June to early July, which makes June the month to catch them side by side. Money dropped in the donation boxes in the garden goes toward growing the flowers. The garden is about 10 minutes on foot from Odawara Station.
