About
For 3 days during Golden Week, the town center of Iga, the home of the ninja, becomes one big ninja playground. A limited-time costume studio at Hightopia Iga lets you change into ninja gear and walk straight out into the castle town. On the multipurpose plaza in front of Uenoshi Station, the Iga Ninja Time Trial has you race the clock through 5 ninja missions, and there is a stage event on the last day. Bansenshukai, the Iga-ryu ninja experience facility, runs special programs such as a selection of its best ninja-skill activities and floating letters, in which writing done with a secret liquid rises up on water. The castle town hosts a ninja food market and related events, and keep an eye out for the rock-paper-scissors ninjas who pop up out of nowhere and the ninja mannequins posted all over town.
