About
Hirado celebrates its seafood and local food at a special venue set up in Hirado Ohashi Park. The most popular event is catching fish and octopus with your bare hands, and there is also a market selling Hirado specialties and a lucky-draw game, making it a good day out for families. At the paid Hirado Marugoto BBQ you can turn up with nothing and grill local favorites such as Hirado beef and overnight-dried fish on the beach. Entry is free. Temporary parking is available on the day, with free shuttle buses running to the venue. The organizer is the Hirado Industry Festival executive committee.
