About
Nagasaki grew up around its harbor, and this is the city's big summer celebration of the sea and the port. Over two days, Nagasaki Seaside Park and the harbor host stage events, food stalls and fireworks, drawing visitors of every age. At night fireworks burst over the port and large crowds gather; because you watch from the waterfront, every burst is reflected on the surface of the harbor. Nagasaki is known for one of the world's new top three night views, and on festival nights its bay area shines even brighter. The festival is run by an executive committee with its office at the Nagasaki Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Seaside Park is about a 2-minute walk from the Medical Center tram stop.
