About
Yomitan Village's two-day autumn festival goes by the motto "a festival of tradition and creativity woven by people together." The main venue is the Yomitan Village Athletic Field beside the village office, with programs and exhibits also at the multipurpose plaza, the cultural center, the traditional crafts center and the Yuntanza Museum. Its 52nd edition in 2026 is on October 24 and 25. Leading up to it, a bullfighting tournament is planned for October 18 at the Ishikawa Multipurpose Dome in Uruma and a peace concert for October 23 at the athletic field. Parking is free, extra community bus runs are added, and FM Yomitan broadcasts live on both days.
