About
On the second Monday of October every year, Mikami Shrine in Yasu presents five zuiki mikoshi, portable shrines, to its deity at this autumn festival, an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan. Take a bus from Yasu Station on the JR Biwako Line for about 10 minutes to Mikami-jinja-mae and walk about 3 minutes. Parking holds 20 cars and 5 large vehicles.
