About
Tateyama Town's summer festival is an event locals look forward to all year, and in 2026 it reached its sixty-eighth edition. It is put together by local businesses pulling together. Night stalls of every kind set up in the Gohyakkoku and Maezawa areas, a long line of dancers parades through town for the Tateyama Kouta machi-nagashi, and Geino Hyakusen gives residents a stage to show off their talents. By train, the closest stop is Gohyakkoku Station on the Toyama Chiho Railway Tateyama Line, around 25 minutes from Dentetsu-Toyama Station.
