About
Iwakuni's autumn festival takes over the area around JR Iwakuni Station on the Sanyo Line. In 2026 it runs over two days, Saturday and Sunday. There is plenty on the program, from a mass dance where residents join in together to a brass band parade and a performing arts show, and flea market and fair-style stalls liven up the station front. The venue is only about a 5-minute walk from Iwakuni Station, which makes coming by train easy; by car it is about 20 minutes from the Iwakuni Interchange on the Sanyo Expressway.
