About
Snowy Tadami holds a festival every winter at the Tadami Line Plaza, right in front of JR Tadami Station. A stage carved out of snow hosts traditional folk performances, a ritual to ward off bad luck and more. At the Yukinko Market, local vendors bring their best dishes so you can try Tadami's home cooking, and there are photo and mini snow sculpture contests. In the evening, prayer fireworks and projection mapping bring things to a close. A warm-up event is held the night before the main festival. It is organized by the Tadami Furusato Snow Festival executive committee.
