About
At the end of summer, Shosanji in Kamiyama, Temple 12 on the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, holds this memorial service. From evening into night, performances such as the temple's own Shosanji dance draw people up to the mountain temple, and the night ends with set-piece and aerial fireworks. By car, the temple is about 12 km from the Onsen no Sato Kamiyama roadside station.
