Switching map views and the Near list

For when the map feels too busy, or you only want what’s nearby. Shapes tell the markers apart: murs are dots (●), musts are stars (★) and marks are orange flags.

Bubbles or pins

On the world map, use the button at the bottom right to switch between “Show as pins” and “Show as bubbles”. Bubbles are the default. When you zoom far out, posts appear as pins even in bubble mode. Posts at the same spot are grouped under a marker with a “+”; tap it to see “Posts at this spot”.

Show or hide murs, marks and musts

Tap “Show” at the bottom of the screen to get switches for “mur”, “mark” and “must”. Turn on only what you want to see (all are on by default; at least one always stays on). Your choice is remembered and applies to both the map and the Near list.

The Near list

  1. Switch to “Near” at the bottom of the screen (location access is required; the “World” map works without it).
  2. Use “Range” to pick a radius around you: 1, 3, 10, 30 or 100 km (3 km by default).
  3. Sort by “Nearest”, “Farthest”, “Newest” or “Fading soon”.

murs, marks and musts are mixed together in the order you chose. You can fav or reply right from a row, and tapping a row takes you to that spot on the map. If there’s nothing nearby, you’ll see how far the closest mur is and a “Widen the range” button. Your range and sort order are remembered.

Search by words

Use “Search” at the top to look for murs and marks by words, either worldwide (“World”) or nearby (“Near”).
