About
When the hydrangeas bloom on the Okawara Plateau in Sanagochi Village, the village throws a festival among some 30,000 of them. Besides the flowers, there is Awa Odori by local dance groups, guided nature-watching on the plateau, tours inside a wind turbine, and stalls selling food and drink. Everything happens at the summit parking area on the plateau, about 60 minutes' drive from JR Tokushima Station, so plan on going by car.
