About

The summer festival on the Azabu-Juban shopping street in Minato City is the neighborhood's biggest event, so much so that people say Azabu-Juban and the summer festival go hand in hand. Merchants and residents run it together. There is plenty to do: the "Oraga Kuni Jiman" fair of food and specialties from around Japan, night stalls, a summer comedy show with popular comedians, festival music, a children's area called Kodomo Fureai Hiroba, and Stage 10-BANG at Patio Juban. Among the night stalls are family-friendly games such as string-pull prize draws, dice games and scooping glowing toys. The organizers' goals are a safe event where rules are respected, less waste, and having fun together with children.
